Early Voting for President Obama

Although President Obama has no opposition in the Democratic Presidential Primary, we need to turn out and vote, to give the county parties a measure of Democratic voter strength everywhere. Please vote!

Early/advance voting is available Monday through Friday during normal office hours at your county election board office. Saturday voting will be available on February 25th.

Click here to check your voting status, find your early voting location and see a sample ballot.

Voters in elections are required to show one of the following six forms of photo ID when voting:

  • A Georgia driver’s license, even if expired.
  • Any valid photo ID issued by the state or federal government, including a free Voter ID Card issued by your county registrar or Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS)
  • Valid U.S. passport
  • Valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency, or entity of the U.S. Government, the State of Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority, or other entity of this state.
  • Valid U.S. military photo ID
  • Valid tribal photo ID

If you don't have one of these forms of photo identification, you can obtain a free voter ID card at your county registrar’s office or the Georgia Department of Driver Services. Anyone with additional questions about Georgia’s photo ID requirement can visit  www.GAPhotoID.com or call toll free (877) 725-9797.
